The hostel is in a great location, close to the train station and yet peaceful. The design and interior are impressive, making it hard to believe it is one of the cheapest hostels in the city. The self-check-in and coded lockers add convenience. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind, providing assistance with luggage and pointing out attractions for solo travelers. The breakfast is highly recommended and the atmosphere in the common area is great for group travelers. The hostel also offers excellent spa facilities, with three different saunas.

The cleanliness of the sinks could be improved, as they were dirty throughout the stay.

The bathroom door was broken, and the unpleasant smells permeated throughout the area. The poor air quality in the sleeping pods due to lack of ventilation was uncomfortable.

I had a great stay at the Green Elephant Hostel & Spa. The location was perfect, close to the train station and city center. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I especially loved the cozy and comfortable common area. The hostel had a nice design and the bunk beds were excellently designed. I also appreciated the provided soap, shampoo, and hair dryers in the bathrooms. The free tea and coffee in the common area were a nice touch as well.

I did have a slight issue with the breakfast. There were no warm drinks available due to a broken water boiler, and I had to pay extra for cold drinks.

the green elephant hostel & spa in maastricht was a delightful surprise! the environmentally friendly and healthy theme really impressed me, and the free bike rentals were a huge plus. the staff was friendly, and everything was clean and well thought out. highly recommend for a great stay!

Great location! The hostel is conveniently located near the train/bus station, making it easy to get around. Comfortable beds with combination lockers provided. No need to worry about bringing a padlock. The breakfast was delicious and better than what I expected from a hostel.

It would have been helpful to be informed about needing to bring my own bed sheets and towels during check-in. The room was quite cold, which was not very environmentally friendly.

I recently stayed at The Green Elephant Hostel & Spa for a weekend getaway. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and the vibrant Wyck area. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hostel itself was modern and inviting. I loved the addition of plants throughout the space. The showers were abundant, and I appreciated the eco-friendly shampoo and body wash provided in leaf-shaped cups. The room, although small, was comfortable and clean. The communal areas, including the beautiful garden, were a great place to relax. excellent value for money.

Everything in the city center is just a short walk away. Breakfast: The breakfast buffet offered at the hostel was truly impressive. It was homemade, organic, and fresh. There were plenty of options to choose from, including a variety of fruits and salads. It was a fantastic way to start the day.Friendly staff: The staff at the hostel were very helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and assist us with any needs or questions we had during our stay.

Noise disturbance: Unfortunately, our stay was marred by some extremely loud guests who were disruptive and kept us up at night. While the receptionist addressed the issue and attempted to resolve it, it was still a significant inconvenience for us.
